1. About Us
Sparked Connection Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates a professional community and introduction service for individuals seeking friendship, mentorship, events, and — for those who choose it — considered romantic introductions.
These Terms also govern Professional Singles Network (singles-network.com), which is operated by Sparked Connection Ltd as part of our wider community and matchmaking service.
By submitting an application, joining the Singles Network, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Sparked Connection is built around four pillars: friendship, mentorship, events, and — for members who choose it — considered, compatibility-led romantic introductions. Members are never required to use more than the pillars relevant to them.
Depending on what a member has told us they're interested in, our services may include access to a private member network, workshops and mentor circles, social and co-working events, and structured matchmaking supported by human matchmaker review and AI-assisted compatibility analysis.
We do not operate as a dating app. Romantic introductions are never based on open browsing, swiping, or public profiles, and are only ever made following human review.
3. Eligibility & Acceptance

- Submission of a questionnaire or payment does not guarantee acceptance
- We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue membership where we reasonably consider it appropriate to do so
By submitting an application for membership, you represent, warrant, and undertake (on an ongoing basis throughout your membership) that:
- You are at least 27 years of age
- You have the full right, authority, and legal capacity to enter into and be bound by these Terms
- All information provided by you is true, accurate, complete, and not misleading, and you agree to promptly notify us of any material changes
- To the best of your knowledge and belief, you are not currently subject to any court order, restriction, or ongoing circumstance that would reasonably make your participation in the service unsafe for other members or staff
If you have indicated that you are interested in romantic introductions (whether through our matchmaking membership or the Second Match Promise), you additionally represent and warrant, on an ongoing basis, that you are not currently married, in a civil partnership, or in any ongoing romantic or intimate relationship. This requirement does not apply to members who use the service solely for friendship, mentorship, or events.
Sparked Connection reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership where it reasonably believes participation may present a safety, legal, operational, or reputational risk to the service, its members, or its staff.
4. Definitions
An introduction where both parties have confirmed willingness to be introduced and to receive each other's profile or contact details.
The 12-month period beginning on the date of acceptance or purchase of a Gold or Platinum membership. This term does not apply to PSN Community Membership (see below), which carries no fee or fixed term.
The Professional Singles Network: the free Bronze pool of members who may access the private member network, mentor circles, and events, and whose profiles are held on file and made available to our matchmakers for consideration in future introductions, where the member has indicated an interest in these.
The free membership offered through the Professional Singles Network, providing access to monthly networking calls, the Mentor & Mentee programme, and a 10% discount on Sparked Connection's Gold matchmaking membership. Workshops and Member Events are priced separately and are not included with PSN Community Membership (see Section 5B). Further detail is set out in Section 5B.
Any social event, networking event, workshop, matchmaking event, gathering, online event, or other activity organised by Sparked Connection from time to time.
A small group or one-to-one pairing of members, matched by Sparked Connection, for the purposes of informal professional mentorship.
The standards of behaviour we ask all members to follow when interacting with other members, whether online, at events, or as part of a mentorship or introduction.
A flexible membership option (£150) available when two Bronze members are identified as a match. Only one person needs to join and is guaranteed a second introduction if the first match is not the right fit. No fixed time limit applies.
5. Membership Tiers & Duration
Sparked Connection offers three matchmaking membership tiers:

The Professional Photoshoot included with Gold and Platinum memberships is delivered by an independent, third-party photographer under that photographer's own booking terms. Sparked Connection is not responsible for the scheduling, quality, delivery, or outcome of third-party photography services, and any such arrangement is between the Client and the photographer directly.
For the purposes of these Terms, the service is deemed to commence once the scheduled 1:1 consultation (in-person or on-line) has taken place following contract signature.
Prior to this consultation, Sparked Connection may carry out administrative onboarding activities, including reviewing submitted information and preparing for the consultation. Such activities do not constitute commencement of the matchmaking service.
Once the 1:1 consultation has taken place, the service is considered to have formally commenced, and the provisions relating to cancellation and refunds after commencement will apply.
Attendance of Consultation
Where a Client repeatedly delays, fails to attend, or cancels a scheduled consultation without reasonable notice, Sparked Connection reserves the right to: (a) place the membership on hold; (b) charge a reasonable administrative rescheduling fee; or (c) treat the service as commenced where substantial preparatory matchmaking work has already been undertaken and the Client has been clearly notified in advance.
The consultation-based commencement rule in this Section 5 applies to Gold and Platinum matchmaking memberships only. PSN Community Membership (Section 5B) is a free, separate offering and is not subject to this rule.
5A. Mentorship
Where a member has indicated an interest in mentorship, Sparked Connection may introduce them to one or more other members as part of a Mentor Circle, either as a mentor, a mentee, or both.
Mentor Circle introductions are made in good faith based on the information provided in a member's profile, but Sparked Connection does not guarantee compatibility, availability, the continuation of any mentorship relationship, or any particular outcome (including career, business, or financial outcomes).
- Mentorship is offered on an informal basis and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or career advice given by Sparked Connection
- Members participate in mentorship relationships at their own discretion and are responsible for the advice or guidance they give or receive
- Members agree to keep information shared during mentorship conversations confidential, save where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect someone's safety
- Sparked Connection is not liable for the accuracy, quality, or outcome of any advice or guidance exchanged between members as part of a mentorship relationship
Mentor Circle matching is included as part of Bronze (Singles Network) membership at no additional cost, and remains included for PSN Community Members (see Section 5B).
5B. Professional Singles Network Community Membership
The Professional Singles Network (PSN), operated by Sparked Connection Ltd at singles-network.com, offers its own membership structure alongside the matchmaking tiers described in Section 5. PSN Community Membership is a free offering focused on professional and social community benefits, and is not a matchmaking membership in its own right.
PSN Community Membership carries no fee, and includes:
- A 1:1 introduction call with a Sparked Connection team member, to understand your interests and goals within the network
- Ongoing notice of in-person and online PSN events
- Eligibility for a complimentary first considered introduction within the Singles Network, and eligibility for matchmaking consideration via Sparked Connection, in each case where you have indicated an interest in romantic introductions and subject to Sections 6-8 of these Terms
- Monthly networking video calls with the wider PSN community
- Access to the Mentor & Mentee programme (see Section 5A)
- A 10% discount on Sparked Connection's Gold matchmaking membership (see below)
Self-development and business workshops, social events, and getaway trips are not included with PSN Community Membership, Bronze, Gold, or Platinum. These are individually priced and open to all members on the same terms regardless of membership tier, with pricing always disclosed before booking (see Section 20).
The 10% discount applies only to the headline price of a new Gold matchmaking membership (Section 5), and only where the Client holds an active PSN Community Membership at the time the Gold membership is purchased. It does not apply to Platinum, the Second Match Promise, event fees, or any other product, cannot be combined with any other discount or promotional offer, and has no cash value.
Leaving PSN
PSN Community Membership carries no fee, minimum term, or cancellation charge. You may stop participating, or ask us to close your PSN membership and remove your profile from future consideration, at any time by giving written notice to hello@sparkedconnection.com, without affecting any separate Gold or Platinum matchmaking membership you may hold.
PSN Community Membership is independent of, and does not automatically include or entitle you to, Bronze, Gold, or Platinum matchmaking membership. Equally, holding a Bronze, Gold, or Platinum matchmaking membership does not automatically include PSN Community Membership; each must be joined separately.
6. Number of Introductions
Sparked Connection will use reasonable endeavours to provide a minimum of 5 Agreed Introductions during the Membership Period for Gold members and for each Platinum member, subject to the Client remaining eligible, responsive, and actively engaged in the service. Introductions are subject to:
- Reasonable availability of suitable matches
- Mutual interest and willingness to be introduced
- The Client's active participation and responsiveness
Introductions are not time-bound and may occur at any point during the Membership Period. They reflect the quality and care of our curation process rather than a fixed schedule.
Where the minimum of 5 Agreed Introductions has not been fulfilled by the end of the Membership Period through no fault of the Client, Sparked Connection will extend the membership at no additional cost until the minimum is met.
7. Second Match Promise (Bronze Members)
Where two Bronze (free) members are identified as a compatible match, either party may opt for the Second Match Promise membership (£150). Under this arrangement:
- Only one person needs to join at the £150 fee
- The joining member is guaranteed a second introduction if the first match is not the right fit
- There is no fixed time limit on the second introduction
- The Second Match Promise is a separate, flexible membership and does not carry all features of a Gold membership
Bronze members are part of our Singles Network but are not entitled to a guaranteed minimum number of introductions unless they have purchased the Second Match Promise.
Confirming the Outcome
Following the introduction, the joining (paying) member must confirm the outcome to Sparked Connection within 2 days of the date taking place, indicating whether the match was successful or unsuccessful.
This confirmation determines eligibility for the guaranteed second introduction. Where confirmation is not received within the 2-day window, Sparked Connection reserves the right to treat the match as successful for the purposes of this Section, and the guaranteed second introduction will not apply.
8. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Sparked Connection does not guarantee the timing or frequency of introductions, compatibility or mutual attraction, any specific relationship outcome, or the availability, scheduling, attendance, organisation, or continuation of any Member Event.
Introductions are based on available information, compatibility insights, and professional judgement.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information
- Engage respectfully with introductions
- Remain reasonably responsive to communications
- Notify us promptly in writing if they enter a relationship during their membership
Where a Client becomes unresponsive or unavailable for more than 90 consecutive calendar days without an approved membership pause in place, the matchmaking process may be paused. Any period of non-engagement by the Client may not count toward the Membership Period for the purposes of the introduction guarantee in Section 6. Repeated non-engagement without reasonable explanation may result in suspension or conclusion of the service.
Once you notify us that you are in a relationship, your membership will continue until the end of the current period, after which you will no longer be eligible to use the service. Any prepaid event bookings will be subject to the terms of each individual event at the time of booking.
9A. Membership Pause & Hold Policy
Sparked Connection understands that personal circumstances may occasionally make it difficult for a Client to actively participate in the matchmaking process.
A Client may request that their membership be placed on hold for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Entering an exclusive or developing relationship
- Illness, medical treatment, or recovery
- Bereavement or significant family circumstances
- Relocation or extended travel
- Temporary work commitments or other personal circumstances affecting availability
All pause requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to Sparked Connection's approval at its reasonable discretion.
During any approved pause period:
- No introductions will be provided
- The Client will not be actively considered for new matches
- Membership benefits will be temporarily suspended
- The pause period will not count toward any minimum introduction guarantee
Sparked Connection may permit a maximum of two (2) approved pauses during a Membership Period, with a combined total pause duration not exceeding six (6) months, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where a Client enters an exclusive relationship, Sparked Connection may place the membership on hold for an agreed period. Should the relationship end during the approved hold period, the Client may resume their membership and any remaining entitlement to introductions.
Sparked Connection reserves the right to refuse, limit, or conclude pause requests where it reasonably believes the Client is no longer actively seeking a relationship or is unable to participate meaningfully in the matchmaking process.
10. Your Responsibilities as a Member
To keep Sparked Connection a safe, respectful, and high-quality environment for all members, you agree not to:
- Use the platform or its content for any purpose beyond what is outlined in this agreement
- Share, transfer, or give access to your membership to any other individual
- Pretend to be someone you are not, or misrepresent your identity or your relationship with any person or organisation
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or otherwise infringe on the rights or wellbeing of other members or third parties
- Carry out any commercial activity on the platform — including advertising, promotions, competitions, or business ventures — without our prior written consent
- Act in a manner that is deliberately hurtful, disrespectful, or demeaning towards any other member
- Be knowingly defamatory, disparaging, or derogatory towards any other member
11. Behaviour & Conduct
All members agree to follow our Community Code of Conduct in every interaction with other members - whether online in the private member network, at Member Events, or as part of a mentorship or introduction.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership where a Client behaves in a manner that is inappropriate, misleading, unsafe, disrespectful, or inconsistent with the values of the service.
This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, dishonesty, and misuse of introductions, mentorship relationships, or the member network.
In such cases, membership fees are non-refundable and Sparked Connection shall have no obligation to continue providing introductions, mentorship matching, event access, or to extend the membership period. We also reserve the right to submit serious complaints to the appropriate authorities.
You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any inappropriate behaviour in connection with the service.
If you arrange any meetings with any person through your use of the service - whether a friend, mentor, mentee, or romantic introduction - you do so at your own risk. Please take reasonable precautions to ensure your personal safety and approach contact with introduced individuals with the same caution you would exercise when meeting anyone you do not know.
12. Fees, Payments & Refunds
Joining the Singles Network (Bronze / Community Membership) and PSN Community Membership are both free. Membership fees for Gold and Platinum, and the Second Match Promise fee, are payable in advance. Current pricing is:
- Bronze (Singles Network / Community Membership): Free
- PSN Community Membership: Free (see Section 5B)
- Second Match Promise (one-off, AI-assisted matchmaking with human review): £150
- Gold: £1,500 for a 12-month membership
- Platinum: £2,800 for two simultaneous 12-month memberships
Workshops and Member Events (including social events and getaway trips) are not included with any membership tier - Bronze, PSN Community Membership, Gold, or Platinum. They are individually priced and open to all members on the same terms. Pricing will always be clearly disclosed before you book, and payment of an event or workshop fee does not form part of, or entitle you to, any membership tier.
Once the Gold or Platinum service has commenced, those fees are non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law. Event fees are non-refundable once the event has taken place, save as required by law or as set out in the event-specific terms provided at the time of booking.
Memberships are also available as gift vouchers — please request via email.
Cooling-Off Period
By requesting that matchmaking services begin within the 14-day cooling-off period, the Client expressly acknowledges and agrees that their right to cancel will be lost once the service has commenced. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. This cooling-off period applies to Gold and Platinum matchmaking memberships; PSN Community Membership carries no fee and so no refund is applicable (see Section 5B).
13. Right to Cancel (Consumer Rights)
Where applicable under UK law, Clients may have a 14-day cooling-off period.
If the Client requests that services begin during this period, and the service commences, the right to cancel will be lost.

14. Privacy & Confidentiality
We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
Client information is treated with discretion and confidentiality. Personal contact details are only shared following an Agreed Introduction.
15. Profile Information Sharing
Community & Directory Visibility
Where a member has indicated an interest in friendship, mentorship, and/or events, Sparked Connection may make limited profile details - such as first name, profession, and photo - visible to other vetted members within the private member network, for the purposes of friendship, mentorship, and events.
Matchmaking-Specific Sharing
Where a member has indicated an interest in romantic introductions, Sparked Connection may separately share limited profile information with potential matches, including:
- First name or initial
- General location
- Profession or lifestyle overview
- Selected photographs
- High-level preferences
Matchmaking-specific information is shared solely for the purpose of assessing compatibility and mutual interest ahead of a prospective introduction. Personal contact details are only shared following mutual agreement to proceed.
16. Use of AI-Assisted Tools
We may use secure, GDPR-compliant AI-assisted tools to support compatibility analysis, questionnaire review, meeting transcription, internal notes, summaries, and follow-up actions.
Where consultations, meetings, or calls are transcribed, AI-assisted transcription or dictation tools may be used to help create accurate summaries, notes, and agreed next steps. These tools are used solely for internal service delivery purposes and are treated confidentially.
No matchmaking decision is made solely by automated means. All matchmaking decisions are reviewed and made by a human matchmaker. AI supports, but does not replace, human professional judgement.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparked Connection shall not be liable for:
- Actions or behaviour of third parties
- Dissatisfaction with introductions where the service has been delivered as described
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Any delay in performance due to events outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, technical failures, illness, or availability of suitable matches
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Sparked Connection does not conduct formal DBS checks, criminal background screening, financial checks, employment verification, or independent verification of all information supplied by members. Clients remain responsible for exercising their own judgement when interacting with introduced individuals.
18. Service Availability
The services are provided in their current form. We do not guarantee that the services, or any element thereof, will meet your requirements, purpose, or expectations.
We are not liable for delays or interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, including technical issues, illness, or availability of suitable matches.
We reserve the right to suspend the services without notice for repair, maintenance, or other technical reasons.
19. No Exclusivity
Sparked Connection does not guarantee that any introduced individual is exclusively matched with a single Client. Where appropriate, an individual may be considered for or introduced to more than one compatible member, provided such introductions are made in good faith and in accordance with our professional matchmaking process.
20. Member Events
Sparked Connection may, but is under no obligation to, organise Member Events from time to time. Workshops and Member Events (including social events and getaway trips) are individually priced and open to all members regardless of membership tier; pricing will be clearly disclosed before you book.
Participation in any Member Event is entirely optional and may be subject to separate booking requirements, capacity limits, suitability assessments, venue restrictions, health and safety requirements, and additional event-specific terms and conditions.
You attend any in-person Member Event at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparked Connection is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your attendance at a Member Event, except where caused by our negligence.
The cancellation, postponement, modification, unavailability, or absence of any Member Event shall not entitle a Client to any refund, compensation, credit, or membership extension, save as required by law.
Where Sparked Connection organises Member Events, separate event-specific terms and conditions may apply and will be provided in advance. We reserve the right to invite media to attend events and to publish photographs. Where photography or video from an event may be used for marketing purposes, we will seek your consent separately and you may withdraw this at any time.
21. Security
Any membership promotional code, if allocated, is personal to you and is not transferable. You are responsible for keeping it secure and for any use made under your code.
If you are no longer a paying member but continue to interact with Sparked Connection services, you must refrain from using any promotional code and pay the relevant fee as stated.
You must notify us immediately of any apparent breach of security such as loss, theft, or unauthorised disclosure or use of your code or account details.
22. Disclaimer
The content shared through our services may include facts, views, opinions, advice, and recommendations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable on account of the accuracy, defamatory nature, completeness, timeliness, or otherwise of any content provided through the service.
Our website may contain errors and, from time to time, may not be accessible. Any content provided is intended as information only and does not constitute professional advice.
We are not responsible for any injuries or losses arising out of the use of alcohol or drugs at any event we organise or attend.
Intellectual property rights in connection with the services shall be owned by us absolutely. You are expressly prohibited from reproducing, copying, editing, or transmitting any of our materials, or removing, modifying, or using any of our intellectual property, without first obtaining written permission.
23. Notices
All notices given by you to us must be sent to hello@sparkedconnection.com.
We may give notice to you at the email address you provide when registering. It will be sufficient to prove, in the case of an email, that such email was sent to the specified address of the addressee.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update or amend these Terms from time to time by giving reasonable notice. The version in force at the time of purchase will apply to that membership.
By continuing to use the services after the expiry of the notice period, you will be deemed to have accepted any amendment to these Terms.
If, on receipt of such notice, you wish to terminate your agreement with us, you may do so by giving us not less than seven (7) days' notice, such termination to take effect on the date upon which the amended agreement would otherwise have come into effect.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
